  • She initiated or expanded programs that especially benefited previously underserved populations including women (Re-Emerging Woman Program and founding the University Women's Association), elderly (Elderhostel), youth (fine arts and physical education summer camps), and the nontraditional learner (prior learning portfolios). An additional legacy was the establishment of a learning resource center to provide diagnostic and instructional services.
  • Having planned, implemented, managed, and taught undergraduate and graduate programs in psychology and education, she has exerted a major influence on many careers in corporate and higher education and human service.
  • She is widely published and has provided human resources consulting services to a broad range of private, government, and public service agencies, has served on numerous academic committees and councils, and held several visiting professorships.
