Specialist in continuing education and advisor to US federal agencies.

Developed programs of continuing education for women and similar ones to raise the educational levels of veterans.

While attending the third annual conference of the Commission on the Status of Women meeting in Washington, DC on June 28, 1966, Rosalind Loring attended a meeting in Betty Friedan's hotel room with approximately 15-20 others.  The gathering ultimately led to the establishment of the National Organization of Women (NOW).
