In 2005, Gretchen Bersch, Professor Emerita, University of Alaska Anchorage, began a project to capture current adult education scholars' reflections on their discipline, their scholarship, and their contributions. This was done through videotaped series called Conversations on Lifelong Learning. Merriam was one of the scholars interviewed.
